Just as we are digesting the news of reclusive country star, Shania Twains’ divorce from music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, 59, we get slapped with another shocking piece of gossip: he cheated on her with their secretary and house manager, Marie-Anne Thiébaud, 37.

As cliché as it sounds, the picture of this mysterious other woman was released by People magazine — what a surprise, she looks terribly plain and hardly the portrait of a marriage wrecker.

Rumor has it that she has also left her husband and is in a relationship with Lange.

As Shania Twain, 42, is seeking the comfort of her close friends and family in her native Canada. Sources close to the celebrity say she is still devastated from the betrayal. Thiébaud was not just an employee but was also considered a close friend, who took vacations together with the celebrity family.

The couple has a 6-year-old son, Eja D’Angelo, from their 14-year marriage.

Lange has denied that the extra-marital affair was the cause of their breakup.
