Funnyman Robin William’s second wife, Marsha Garces, filed for divorce today in San Francisco, after 18 years of marriage. The couple separated since December 31, 2007 and she is requesting for joint custody of 16-year-old son, Cody. They also have an 18-year-old daughter, Zelda.
Williams and Garces met when she was a nanny to his son from his previous marriage to Valerie Valardi. They married in 1989 and had their two children shortly after.
Williams, 56, is an Oscar-winning actor/comedian who is known for his films, Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam and Dead Poets Society. He fist gained fame as Mork in TV comedy series, Mork and Mindy in the 70s.
Garces became his personal assistant when they were first married and then co-owned their production company, Blue Wolf Productions. She also produced several of Williams’ films, Jakob the Liar, Patch Adams, and Mrs. Doubtfire.
