Many of the books on divorce focus on women and children, but few actually pay attention to men.
Some may dismiss divorce advice for men as potentially women bashing material — much like some of the wring-him-dry variety for women.
But this thoughtfully written book by S. Perry Mallory advocate that men take responsibility.
Mallory is not a divorce lawyer by profession, but a real estate broker who went through a divorce himself which inspired him to write The divorce manual for men.
He gives frank, down-to-earth tips on how to be cooperative, encourages men to put the kids at the forefront of the divorce and save some money at the end of it all. The tone of the book has the average Joe in mind and he backs up his statements by interviewing many professionals in the field of divorce.
