The Internet has been ablaze with reports of Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie’s impending split because the Material Girl star allegedly visited Fiona Shackleton, the dynamo legal eagle behind Princess Diana and Sir Paul McCartney’s divorces.

At stake is Madonna’s staggering fortune of $650 million, so she certainly needs the best lawyers around to help her. Apparently, there was no pre-nuptial agreement in place. Not possible, you think, but even the super-wealthy think with their hearts and not their bank accounts.

There were reports that Ritchie flew to New York in a last bid to save their broken marriage, but rumor has it, that the movie director visited top London family law firm, Forsters.

To spoil tabloid fun and games, Madonna’s rep released an exclusive statement to People magazine that there is no divorce in the air at all. She debunked rumors of affairs with Alex Rodriguez and Lil Wayne as untrue.
