Probably the most expensive divorce party in history, fiery blond celeb and Sir Paul McCartney’s ex Heather Mills is splurging $500,000 on a holiday for herself and 25 of her closest friends.

Mills is whisking her friends off to Richard Branson’s Caribbean hideaway Necker Island at the price tag of $50,000 a night.

Apparently this gesture is a big thank you for their “unfaltering support” during her divorce battle with McCartney.

She has yet to settle her $600,000 legal bills with her former legal team, whom she fired mid-way through her divorce proceedings.

Rumor has it she had to re-mortgage one of her homes to afford the week-long dream holiday. But the notorious celebrity insisted she wanted to go “somewhere she couldn’t be photographed”.

Mills certainly spends her pennies before she can count them.
