Estranged wife Jennifer Murray alleges that her comedian/actor husband Bill Murray is a serial adulterer, a drug addict, and a spousal abuser, who abandoned his family.

The Academy Award-nominated actor’s “adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment” forced her to move into a separate South Carolina home with their four children in 2006.

Jennifer Murray claims that he physically abused her several times during their 10-year marriage (they wed in 1997) and that the star hit her in the face during a November 2007 fight in her home. In this complaint that was filed on May 12, the 57-year-old celebrity “told her she was ‘lucky he didn’t kill her’”.

Other accusation include that the actor would often leave town without telling her, and sometimes “travels overseas where he engages in public and private altercations and sexual liaisons.”

She also says that he “repeatedly…left threatening voice messages on the home telephone which the minor children have heard.”

On top of seeking a divorce, Jennifer Murray requested for a restraining order against the Hollywood star. She also wants the court to determine the legal validity of a prenuptial agreement signed before the couple got hitched in July 2007.

That agreement gives Jennifer Murray a lump sum settlement of $7 million when they divorce.
